Louise McKechnie
Louise qualified as a Swedish massage therapist in 2005, and until recently has been working exclusively with the Scottish Government, massaging staff in their place of work.
Massage offers a space for deep relaxation, allowing you to tune into your body’s needs and develop a sense of mindfulness. Massage not only relaxes your muscles, but also elevates your mood, leaving you refreshed and invigorated.
Regular massage has been shown to boost immune function, by increasing the activity of white blood cells, which are essential for fighting off illnesses and infections. Massage also stimulates the lymphatic system, which plays a crucial role in removing toxins and waste products from the body. Through gentle pressure and rhythmic movements, massage helps to facilitate lymphatic drainage, leaving you feeling lighter and more revitalized as your body gets rid of accumulated toxins.
Over the last few years, Louise has taken part in a variety of roadshows all over Scotland, promoting the importance of health and wellbeing in and out of the workplace.
Louise is also qualified in Indian head massage and is a member of the Scottish Massage Therapists Organisation (SMTO).
