Cranial Osteopathy

What is Cranial Osteopathy?

Cranial osteopathy is a subtle, very gentle version of osteopathy that is well suited to treating babies, children, people with long standing or complex conditions and older people. Although it sounds like it is concerned with the head, these techniques are used to treat the whole body, with the osteopath placing their hands on you in various places e.g. under the tailbone and at the diaphragm. You may not feel very much happening during this kind of treatment, but you will feel the benefit afterwards. To learn more about cranial osteopathy have a look at the SCCO website.
