Adrian Tupper

After working in the engineering then financial sectors, Adrian studied counselling, attaining a PgDip in 2007, then an MSc in 2008.

As a qualified and experienced counsellor, Adrian will work with you through your difficult times. Adrian has a particular interests in relationships in all their expressions, workplace stress and helping people towards confidence and empowerment.  He offers counselling to individual adults regardless of age, sex, sexual orientation, race and history.

For short term work he is likely to draw on personal construct psychology, exploring how we make meaning in our lives. Longer term work is likely to take a more psychodynamic approach, where we explore unconscious processes that affect us, such as your defence mechanisms and the otherwise overwhelming emotions that they repress.

Adrian is a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and consequently practises within their ethical framework, which includes minimum levels of supervision and continuing professional development.
